The title of this blog post is no word of a lie. These brownies are genuinely the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’m now going to share my recipe to the entire world! These brownies are the perfect complement to a hot chocolate next to a cosy fire. For me, a brownie has to be chocolatey, soft and still a little bit warm. I promise you, you won’t regret making these!
YOU WILL NEED:
- 200g Butter
- 125g Plain 70%-80% Cocoa Chocolate (Broken Up)
- 100g Plain Flour
- 210g Caster Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- Icing Sugar (Optional)
Preheat the oven to 180oC/160oC Fan/Gas Mark 4
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Break the chocolate up into small pieces and put in a small pan with the butter on a low heat, stirring until melted. Once melted, remove from heat and set aside to cool down.
In a bowl, whisk together the caster sugar and eggs until the mixture is thick and foamy.
Add the cooled chocolate into the mix and whisk until it is all mixed together.
Sieve the flour and then fold into the mixture. You need to make sure all of the flour is folded in and your mixture is a gooey chocolatey consistence.
Spread all of the mixture evenly across a your pan.
Place in oven and cook for 20-25 minutes.
You should know when it is cooked if you poke a toothpick or skewer into the middle of the brownie and it comes out clean.
Once cooked leave to cool slightly and the dust the top with icing sugar and cut into bite size pieces.
Hope you enjoy the brownies as much as I do!
Thank you Connor, for helping me with this post!
