Guess who’s back with another eyeshadow palette review? It’s me! Your favourite eyeshadow palette hoarder! This time I’m going to be telling you about the new Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette collaboration. I am obsessed with Morphe! I love their eyeshadows, brushes, lipsticks, literally everything of theirs! When I saw that they were collaborating with Jaclyn Hill I was so excited, because she is one of my favourite Beauty Gurus! I just had to get my hands on one!
The pictures online were mesmerising! Mattes, shimmers, satins, foils, and glitter: all pressed to perfection. But then came the bad news. It was only available in America and would cost so much in shipping and import tax, I really wasn’t sure if it was worth the money. However, Beauty Bay finally came through, selling it on their site for £37, with free shipping! I sat at my laptop at 8am and waited for them to go on sale! I was really lucky to get one as I saw that so many people had trouble and couldn’t get one, but the whole process was really smooth for me!
The palette in person is just as amazing as it looked online! The colours are so bold, and all go together so well, which is something I always look for in a palette, as it means you can create so many different looks with it. The shadows are also all super pigmented and soft and also extremely easy to blend! The shades are so beautiful. You can create many looks with all these different eye shadow colors.
This palette is so easy to use, and I would really recommend it if you’re into makeup and even if you’re just starting off, and there are so many colours to experiment with! I’m so glad I got up early to purchase it. It was definitely worth the money!
My favourite shades so far to use are Beam (great for a brow and inner corner highlight), Pooter (works great as a transition shade), S.B.N (a shimmery taupe), Jacz (a really pretty matte burgundy), Cranapple (a glittery burgundy) and Meeks (a shimmery bronze).
Most of the shades I’m using at the moment are in the middle row, as they are really autumnal. I haven’t ventured too much towards the purples, greens and blues yet, but I’m really excited to create some more looks with those!
