Valentines Day Ideas ♥

Valentines Day. The day of love. Some people love it, some people hate it, but no one can avoid it! As soon as February hits, card shops turn pink and red, everywhere you turn you see roses, every shop seems to tempt you with chocolate and jewellery shops have queues out the doors.

Personally I like Valentines Day, I think its a nice excuse to spend some quality time together with your significant other, and if your single its a great excuse to get together with your friends and do something you all love, whether that be party, go on an adventure or just have a cozy night in.

So seeing as Valentines Day is fast approaching, I thought I’d share with you all a few of my favourite inexpensive ideas for a ‘date night’ or even just to do with your friends!

Cozy Night In

This one is such a simple but lovely idea. You don’t have to spend very money at all if you don’t want to! You could stick a couple of candles on, run a bath and put a face mask on and just chill, or you could snuggle under a blanket watching Netflix and order some food! Alternatively you can get together and have a drink and a good old gossip, whats more entertaining than that?

Climb The O2

This one is for you more adventurous ones out there! It’s not the first idea, that will come into your head when you’re thinking of date ideas, but believe me its a good one! The climb to the top feels a little bit long, but once you’re up there the views are amazing (as long as you do it on a clear day)! Also its something to check off the bucket list!

Bowling & Pizza

This is such a classic date night and is so easy to do! Bowling and pizza does sound cheesy, but it is so much fun. Its good to get your competitive side out once in a while and then laugh about it together over a bit of food and drink. Plus why wouldn’t you want to do something that involves eating pizza?

There are always so many feel good films out around Valentines Day. Treat yourself and book yourself in the cinema with the comfy seats to make it more special. The Maze Runner, Downsizing and The Greatest Showman are currently on my ‘to watch list’, can’t believe I’ve gone this long without seeing The Greatest Showman.

Spa Day

A little bit of a more expensive one, but its such a nice way to spend time with your significant other or best friends and just take some time to chill out and relax. Even if you don’t want to get any treatments done, its nice to chill out round the pool or in the sauna. Plus, you can always find a good deal on Groupon for a spa!

Escape Room

I’m pretty sure you can find these everywhere now! If you don’t know what this is, then its basically a room that you go into either as a couple or as a group, and you have an hour to solve lots of clues and riddles to work out how to get out. They are so much fun, and get your brain working! I definitely recommend doing one!

What are you Valentines Day plans?
